Russian poultry supplies to China increased sevenfold.
Since the beginning of 2020, the Russian exports of poultry meat to China has reached $160.4 million in money terms. At present, China accounts for 67% of these products shipped from Russia.
Over last year, the overall Russian exports of such items have grown by 70% – up to $329 million. Further advance is being facilitated by state support measures by the Ministry of Agriculture, which encompass concessional lending and reimbursement of part of the costs incurred when certifying agricultural products abroad. The amount of the subsidy can cover 50% or 90% of actually incurred and documented costs, depending on true-to-fact volume of agriproducts transported to the final destination.
In addition, the export guidelines for domestic suppliers are being developed in the course of the federal project "Export of agricultural products" implementation. For example, during last year 3 export guidelines on poultry meat were released for the markets of China, Vietnam and Angola, this year two more are underway – for the Philippines and Japan.
